Create a line chart. Then, select the series you want as a bar. With
it selected, select Chart | Chart Type... | Bar + desired sub-type.

okay.... thanks.... I did that and now my data series I made into a second
y-axis is showing up as an overlap over the other two data series I have....
do you know how to keep it from overlapping and also put the three different
series in a particular order? The third data series I used to make a second
y-axis is now second in line instead of third on the bar graph.

Thanks

Do you have bars on the different axis, and these are overlapping? You
need to use dummy series to hold spaces for the series on opposite axes,
as described here:

http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/...OnTwoAxes.html

It is very difficult to change the order of series in the legend. When
you mix chart types among the series, if Excel wants to list one type
higher than the other, you cannot change it by changing the plot order.
The most you can hope to do is rearrange the order of series within each
type.
