DS,

Some people say a webapplication is easier to deploy. However with click
once a windowforms operation is in my opinion as well easy to deploy.

If it is not only for showing data, than a windowsform application is in my
opinion always to prefer above a webapplication.

Just my thought,

cor,
i have an intranet application.
i want to know in which i can develop it,VB.net or ASP.net.
i heard that vb.net will be very fast.

VBNet is a program language

ASPNet is the general description of the part of the framework about
Internet/Intranet applications, for that you can use VBNet or C#
