You have the code of the application? Project.
You are using microsoft debugger? dotnet.
You are using VS.net?
You (logged-in / working user) have appropriates when debugging the
application?
You are able to build the application assembly dll/exe again from
source?

Hi Habib,

I have the code for the project and am maintaining it, but was developed by
another developer.
I am using VS .NET debugger to run through the code
I have appropriate permissions

Infact it was working fine a couple of weeks ago and out of the blue it
chokes, i check the CPU utilization it jumps from like 3% to 65% and does
nothing,
this does not happen with my other applications, only this project.

Then you must have patched you machine...
(And I hope that before the debugging you develop the whole source
again with full debugging information on the machine you want to debug
and then you are waiting for the break point to be hit).
And make sure you are not using microsoft beta tools.
