Yes, and a repair install will work fine even if you couldnt.

Really depends on how close the raid chipset is to the old one.

You should never run RAID 0 without proper
backups of the data that cant just be reinstalled etc.

That's what he means. If you used a PCI RAID card you could transfer the card and drives without any problem. If you use on motherboard RAID controllers it might not work because of the different RAID firmware.

Yes if you are using motherboard raid.
