If it's a Digital 8 or DV camcorder and you have MovieMaker 2, yes. If you
have an analog, Hi8 or microMV, no. Or am I confusing MM2 with Vegas?

I think your comment makes sense in response to the question in my first
response quoted above. Is that what you meant by your "just fine"
statement?

Aye, I was confirming that you were not confusing it with Vegas, that it
does infact control dv cams.
