On the same screen showing no active drive or partition, it should be an
option next to the bottom right corner, "drive options".
Click on it, and then click on "new".
Select the HD/Partition you want to install on.

Hi
I just went through this with my Gigabyte 965P-DQ6 mobo. I had the same
problem. What I finally ended up doing is loading Vista on a hard drive on
another machine and then using Ghost 2003 to mirror the os onto the WD5000YS
drive I have. Then I did a repair of the os from the Vista disk. Its a lot of
messing around but it works. Hope this helps, have fun Rick
