I just went through this with my Gigabyte 965P-DQ6 mobo. I had the same
problem. What I finally ended up doing is loading Vista on a hard drive on
another machine and then using Ghost 2003 to mirror the os onto the WD5000YS
drive I have. Then I did a repair of the os from the Vista disk. Its a lot of
messing around but it works. Hope this helps, have fun Rick
