Use your camera to delete photos. NEVER use XP.
And delete only after you have made sure that the photos have indeed been
properly transferred to your hard drive and that you have made a copy of
them on a CD-R. Too many have lost photos during transfer or after it for a
variety of reasons.
If you want to delete all photos on your memory stick, the way to do it is
to "format" the memory stick with your camera. Look in your manual.
Select the camera menu. Format is under File. You select format and all
photos will be deleted.
