| Is there any way to get around the limit on the number of
| characters for a file name when burning. My teacher wife has
| very descriptive names for her files and when trying to save
| to a cd they get truncated. Happens with XP assistant as well
| as Nero. Thanks
The Backup Utility (ntbackup.exe) preserves long file names.
So you could use it to create a Microsoft Backup File (*.bkf)
containing the files in question. Then burn this *.bkf to your
CD-R(W).
