We probably need to know the mail pgm you use. Outlook Express
identifies its default address book as USERNAME.WAB (and keeps
them in / Dox and Settings/Username/Address book. The usual
remedy for this type of problem is:
1. (In DOS or Windows) Copy DUD.FIL as NEWNAME.FIL
2. (In the app) import NEWNAME.FIL.
3. If further repairs are needed (and possible) we tinker with
the copy (not with the source file.)
