I wouldn't bother adding a fan because the encosure seems to have
plenty of vent holes, and vertically mounted HDs run cooler than
horizontal ones, about 2-3C less body temperature and as much as
10-20C cooler for their hottest chips (if the chips face outward,
which they don't with WD drives). OTOH I'd worry about that
particular enclosure tipping over, so I'd definitely want to fashion a
much wider base for it, preferrably out of something heavy, like
uranium 238.
