I am configuring two WD 250GB SATA2 HDDs as RAID 0.

Part of the process is selecting a stripe size. My HDDs will be used
mainly for data (audio and video files).

Can anyone suggest stripe size guidelines, or offer any advice?

Try different ones and do benchmarking. Will not necessarily
make a big difference, though. Unless you have lots of small
files something like 128kB os so should be fine.

With large videofiles, it migth be good to use as large as possible, (with
windows 256kb).
Usually you do not need worry to small ones, only those big ones are taking
time...
