The students' accounts are *new* accounts. When they were created, they
were given new SIDs. SIDs are unique, but user names are not necessarily so
(as you've just discovered

.
To make everything look happy again:
- Remove the quota entries that look like SIDs and not user names.
- Add quota entries for the students' accounts.
At the end of this school year if you disable the accounts instead of
deleting them, you can re-enable them when school reconvenes the next year.
