I am working on Mandatory User Profile now, and I have a question.
Let's suppose I have implemented this, and everything is working fine. The user needs to run a new app in order to complete his\her job. I install the app in the local drive. Them waht? I suppose I have to add the icon to the mandatory profile, right? Because as I understand it, any change you made to the desktop or anything, will disappear after user has logged off. Am I right

Thanks in advance.

That is correct. You can make changes to a mandatory profile, ie. add a
desktop icon but when you logoff the changes are not saved to a mandatory
profile.
