In the QFE Q828035 Additional Information file it
instructs me to copy 828749_wkssvc.dll to \Windows\System32
\wkssvc.dll, however 828749_wkssvc.dll does not exist in
the update (Q828035_xpe_sp2_x86_enu.exe). Instead I find
828035_wkssvc.dll. Is this a typo in the .rtf file or an
incorrect file packaged with the update?

Thank you.

I too have found several type-o's in the documents that accompany the QFEs.
There is one document that makes reference to the same key 17 or 18 times
