putting users from a trusted domain into groups in my domain

We (AUS) have a trust relationship with another domain
(UK). This is a two way trust that is not transitive.

We would like to create a couple of groups here in AUS
that we can then grant access to certain facilities and
populate the groups with uses from the UK domain.
When I create the group I can see no way of adding users
from the UK domain to the group.

Our domain (AUS) is still in mixed mode.
The UK domain is in native mode.

Can we do what we would like to do?
Would it be possible if the AUS domain was in native mode?

Thanks,
Svend.

Universal groups aren't available in a mixed mode domain

Thanks heaps.

I'd actually being trying to use a Global group all along.

Since you suggested it I've found I can add users from the
UK domain to a Domain Local group in the AUS domain.

This will do what we want.

Thanks heaps.

Svend.
