I've been looking for a freeware program similar to "PurgeIE". A
Google search revealed a small one called "XPCleaner" at;

http://www.jastek.net/pro.php

Understandably I am reluctant to install the program cold turkey as it
were.

Has anyone used this program? and if so, how does it perform?

Many thanks in advance.

Susan

Also IE Privacy Keeper
http://browsertools.net/IE-Privacy-Keeper/index.html

I use both ccleaner and ie privacy keeper, the former set to clean at
startup and the latter set to clean at shutdown. Between them, they can
cover most everything.

I once used PurgeIE myself, but prefer good freeware when I can find it.
