I also did the same thing with this URL:
http://content.pulse360.com/cgi-bin/...rmat=720x400if

basically it's a matter of right clicking on the pop up, copy the URL, then
adding it to your restricted sites.

Thanks. As long as you trust the site, that works. Bear in mind, though,
that even reputable sites have carried infected banner ads.

Cyphers hit the nail on the head with BOTH Posts!
http://www.Pulse360.com
BOTH added to the 'Restricted Sites' under TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS -
SECURITY - RESTRICTED SITES will stop this annoying pice of Crap pop-up!

Yeah, and I had it precisely backwards. My reply implied adding to trusted
sites, rather than restricted sites. Good solution!

I also have been annoyed by this for awhile. I tried the restricted sites
solution long ago but they keep appearing. I added
http://content.pulse.360.com to the restricted sites and it did not work.
When I tried to add the other URL from above in addition to that I could not
because it said it was already in there.Would it help to clear my cache? I
can't stand this pop-up. Thanks.

I suppose putting the unwanted sites in your hosts file will end the
pop-ups.

Good luck,

Erik Jan.

SIMPLE; PULSE 360 IS ASSOCIATED WITH MSNBC. GO TO INTERNET TOOLS ON YOUR
BROWSER. GO TO P0P UPS AND CLICK OR OPEN POP-UP SETTINGS.
THE WINDOW THAT YOU SEE WILL SAY ALLOW POP UPS FROM THIS SITE. FIND MSNBC
AND REMOVE THAT FROM THE LIST BY CLICKING IT WHICH HIGHLIGHTS IT AND THEN
DELETE. POOF, PULSE 360 IS HISTORY

Pulse 360 advertisements may be seen on many sites throughout the web. While
we have direct relationships with these sites, the MSNBC website offers a
window that pops. Sometimes Pulse 360 ads are offered, and sometimes ads by
other companies are offered and visible in this window. The window that pops
up may be controlled simply by going to your internet tools on your browser.
Click on open pop-up settings and list the site(s) you allow this setting.
You may also right click on the pop up, copy the URL, then add it to your
restricted sites.

Please, be rest assured this pop up is not malicious, nor is this spyware.
This is simply a window of advertisements that you may view, and you may opt
out of viewing.

Regards,
Pulse 360
