Publish Web Site won't publish my doc/docx files

Hi there. I have a web site built using asp.net 2.0 and Visual Studio 2008,
and I'm able to successfully publish it to my web site via ftp when I make
changes.

However, none of my Word Documents that I have added to the project ever get
copied. All the other files, including regular htm files and non-aspx fiels,
are copied as I'd expect, but it won't copy .doc or .docx files ever. I have
to manually ftp the doc files to their locations.

Is there a setting that would allow me to do this?
