Public Folders missing from Outlook folder list

I upgraded two workststions (one NT, one XP). When i first installed each joined a workgroup, and Outlook found the public folders fine. When I added the workststion to a domain, Outlook no longer found the Public folders.
Any ideas what went wrong and how to fix? Thanks,
