On movie maker, my project won't play AT ALL.

I've had this problem quite a few times, one way i used to resolve it was by
copying a clip and pasting it next to itself, so i hd 2, then deleting the
original one. It won't work even after that now, when i click play, nothing
happens. Any help?

avi is just a container and can contain hundreds of file types, it's like
looking at a box of chocolates without the insert telling you which one
contains a soft centre or a hard one. Only dv.avi works wwell with MM.
