Hi David,
I don't know if Citrix is getting in the way or not but I don't have a
problem moving this on a server without Citrix.
Here is what I did:
Made a new Profiles folder on the root of D:
Made sure the Advanced permissions of the D:\Profiles folder matched
C:\Documents and Settings
Copied the All Users and Default Users profiles into D:\Profiles.
Verified Advanced permissions on these two folders also matched the
originals on C:\Documents and Settings
Edited the ProfilesDirectory value under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList and pointed it to D:\Profiles.
After the reboot, all new users who logon to the server got their local
profile created in D:\Profiles.
If you did the same steps try it on a machine without Citrix and see if it
can be moved.
