Got the above message on W2000 Pro machine that has
been working fine. No recent hardware or software
installs \ upgrades. Checked hardware for loose
connections, etc. but no hardware issues noted. No help
from KB article suggesting restoration of system hive. Am
presentlly trying reinstall of OS. Any suggestions of
other options to try? Thanks.
PS Attempted reinstall of OS resulted in second iteration
of OS (which works) but cannot see of the installed
applications. Any way to remove the second iteration of
the OS or to repair first iteration of OS?
