I am working with Vista Home Premium and have IE 7.0.6001.18000. I read and
download some patterns from some Google groups and lately I am having a
terrible time trying to download anything in these files. I am on dial-up
(only option) and of course it is sloooow and sometimes the files will
download and sometimes they go so far and fail. I expect slow but this has
gotten worse within the last 2-3 weeks. Also, the Google main page site
keeps hijacking my Google Groups sites. It is weird being taken over by
Google when I am already on a Google group. Go figure. Does anyone have
any ideas to help with this problem. I have run scans, defraged, cleaned
files, cookies out, etc.
