Problem in Windows Explorer

Hi,

Have you guys encounter the problem below?

Problem Description:

Double-click on any folder on the left-hand pane in
Windows Explorer, it opens up to show the content in the
right-hand pane. If double-click on the folder in the
right-hand pane, seems nothing happens -- it doesn't open
up to show the content/files in there.

Any idea what's the cause? How can it be fixed?
Computer is running Win2K with SP2.
