I'm having problems installing BCM for OL2003.
I little background - I've had OL2003 w/BCM installed since April 2005 with
no problems. This weekend I reformatted my HD and re-installed all programs.
I installed Windows XP, Office 2003 Pro, then BCM, and then updated
everything, inlcuding Office from Microsoft.com (I just checked all the
recommended updates, don't know what they were.) When I opened Outlook it
gave me an error message,something to the effect of "problem with BCM" and
had a checkbox for "Restart BCM." I clicked yes, and it opened and errored
again. I clicked no, and it closed Outlook completely. So Outlook was totally
unusable as I couldn't get it to stay open.
I uninstalled BCM, but got the same thing.
So, I re-formatted the HD, reinstalled Office, re-installed BCM, no updates,
and it worked fine. I updated and it died again. I uninstalled BCM and agian
no help.
So, I re-formatted one more time, re-re-installed Office, no BCM this time,
and all works. I updated, and all still works.
So, what updates are causing BCM to lock-up.
Any help would be appreciated.
