I just purchased a new computer with VISTA operating system on it. I use
macros
within Access and something is blocking the macros from running. I have the
Security options on the lowest level with Access/Macros/Secruity level.

How can I get my Macros to run as they did in XP?

I am pretty sure that Vista is Doing this.

Thanks

Hi Tina,

The reason that I did that was that I posted it very early this AM and saw
that there was not activity on my question in the MACRO section. Futher, I
didn't see any activity on anyone elses questions from yesterday. My
assumption was, that noone was looking at the Macro section.

I will be more careful next time.

Sorry

Ross

The problem was not in posting to the 2 newsgroups, but that you
multi-posted instead of cross-posted.

When you multi-post, you send separate messages to separate
newsgroups. A reader in one group has no idea that the message also
appears (and perhaps has already been correctly answered) elsewhere.

When you cross-post, the same message is addressed to several groups
separated by a comma (Access.Macros,AccessModulesdaovba,Access.Forms,
etc.). A reader in one group can tell if it has already been answered
in another group.

More readers will see the response and learn, and less time will be
spent on duplicate answers.

See Netiquette at http://www.mvps.org/access

It's a great site to visit anyway.

Sorry I can't help with your question, other than to say check your
firewall settings.
