Problem with security patch office 2003 kb892843

's Computer Specifications

Since the above referenced patch was applied on 1-12-06 I have been unble to
get Outlook 2003 to work with AOL. I have been successfully using it since
AOL instituted IMAP access in 2004. The settings appear unchanged, so what is
different since the patch that I can no longer connect AOL mail through
Outlook 2003?

Since posting my problem I tried one more thing. I turned off Norton 2005
Firewall and turned on the XP integral firewall. Outlook 2003 works, so
apparently something in the patch is conflicting with Norton 2005 Firewall or
its settings.
