I got the following message. Windows cannot load local
profile. And i/o operation initiated by regisry failed
unrecoverable. The registry could not read in or write
out systems image of the registry

It did this two time in both safe mode and regular. then
Dell had me log on last good config. computer comes up
but all my settings are gone. I checked for worms viruses
ect and that did not fix it. All my outlook emails are
gone but my programs are still on the computer

HELP! Microsoft wants to charge me $250

For Outlook 2000 search out and import the *.pst file. For OE check out Tom
Kochs' (Tom is one of the OE MVP's) web site for this info and more on
backing up/restoring your Outlook Express stuff or ask in one of the
Office/Outlook or OE groups. http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/
