Hi,

When I use some functionalties of my Access 2000
application and exit out of the application, I can see
that .ldb file is created. It prevents me from opening my
application again and I have to either save it under
another filename or restart the computer.

However this is happening only when I access some
portions of the application.

Please let me know what are the various reasons for this
behaviour and the work around.

Thanks a lot.
..

Hi.

Make sure that you have "Full Control" Windows security permissions on the
directory where the database file is located. This includes read, write
(create), modify and delete permissions.

HTH.

See http://www.QBuilt.com for all your database needs.
See http://www.Access.QBuilt.com for Microsoft Access tips.
