What I do is this...
I have my settings set to:
Privacy - Medium
and then under Advanced
I have "Override automatic cookie handling" checked and
both options set to "Prompt".
This is a little annoying at first... but it shows you
EXACTLY when a site wants to put a cookie on your
machine. This gives you the option of allowing it or
disallowing right off the bat, before it gets on your
machine. At this point, you can also check a box that
says "Always allow" or "Always block" the cookies for
that particular site.
If you ever screw something up, OH SHOOT, I DIDN'T WANT
TO BLOCK /THAT/ SITE! just come back to the Privacy tab
and click Edit, and then find the website, and either
allow / block it from the list.
