Printing From Outlook and Outlook Express - Script Error Line 1344

After going through all the links trying to find out why that Line 1344
Script Error kept me from printing either in Outlook or Outlook Express, I
finally called Microsoft. They scheduled a second level call to me and
after a few things to try, the solution was that a critical registry key was
missing. There is no explanation why it was missing, but I was able to
recover it from another machine and I am back in business. Absolutely
amazing after many months of torture!

Here it is, but I'd find the key from a reliable machine and get a quality
copy of the file to keep from destroying your system... This is from a W2K
Pro OS.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{0000000c-0000-0000-C000-0000
00000046}]

@="IStream"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{0000000c-0000-0000-C000-0000
00000046}\NumMethods]

@="14"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Interface\{0000000c-0000-0000-C000-0000
00000046}\ProxyStubClsid32]

@="{00000320-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}"

This was a good fix for me also..Thanks for your time and patience wit
microsoft..

If you have troubles with the reg values, I am puting a file here fro
my xp pro machine for conveinience.
The extension was changed to "txt" to post on this site.
you would need to change it back to "reg" if you would like to use i
to import the values to your registry.
you can right click, choose edit to see the values that will be adde
if you double click this file..

It was wierd that on the offending machine, if you navigate to thi
area of the registry, the key values went from:
0000000b to 0000000d where this key is 0000000c.

Anyway, seems to be a few people with this problem,
hope they find this site cause microsoft KB hasnt posted this inf
yet!

I used Windows 98 SE and installed Internet Explorer 6. I had the same problem with Print in Outlook Express (Script error line 1344). I applied the solution described above and solved the problem. Thanks !

This may have been posted some time ago, but still solved my problem in Feb 2007 using XP Pro +SP", with OE 6.00.29, and IE 7

Persevere and type in the regestry keys using regedit

Thanks

attached text file works if you remove the ".txt" from the end of the filename. Or capture from below and edit with notepad to make the lines that are too long complete... eg.

{0C733A30-2A1C-11CE-ADE5-
00AA0044773D}]

Should look like this
{0C733A30-2A1C-11CE-ADE5-00AA0044773D}]

Thank you
This helped solving the same problem for me. I have Windows XP SP2 with Outlook 2003. I tried everything, even reinstalling my Office, but just adding the missing registry keys solved the error.

Getting script error line 1344, can't print out email. This happened a long time ago and a computer savvy soul fixed problem by finding that I was missing a needed registry file that mysteriously vanished.

This is again the problem and I think the missing file name is regsvr32 ole32.dll. Problem for me is I don't know where to obtain this file or how exactly to install in registry. I did search my computer and it definitely is not there.

I would greatly appreciate it someone could offer an assist.

Thanks much,

Laura
