I am having problems printing from my HP2280 business jet
on my Windows 2000 computer - this did not happen with my
old Win98SE. Printer is connected in parallel (new cable)
and latest driver updates have been downloaded from HP
site. Problems: graphics from webpages sometimes print
as a solid black box, fonts are changed from standard
Times New Roman to any number of random fonts, symbols
such as boxes or brackets appear in place of numbers and
letters.

The only link I can make is that this does not happen from
any of my NON-Microsoft applications. It has occurred in
Excel, Word, Outlook Express and especially on webpages,
although it does not happen to every document. HP is NO
help and there are no postings in the MS Knowledgebase on
this issue. Anyone have suggestions?
