I am trying to print my outlook calendar to a file so I
can email it to a co-worker. We are not networked so we
do not share calendars.
I have saved it to a file in the print dialog box. It
saves as a .prn file. Problem: I can't open the file. It
defaults to Excel to open but gives an error message -
unrecognizable format. I wasn't able to find any on-line
help.
Would appreciate any suggestions. thanks.

Tammi,

Perhaps an alternate way is to save it as a web page.
Select File Save as Web page and take a look. However,
this will produce multiple files associated with a web
page, so you will need to zip them up to e-mail. But it
sure looks good!

Perhaps more direct would be to use Adobe Acrobat. That's
the de-facto standard (reader is free, but creator costs
$$). A no-cost alternative (which I have used) is from
eFax. They provide eFax Messenger software for free (with
their free service). With this, you can print to a fax
file which easily saves to a TIF. Any system can then
view the TIF file. Watch size however, this free method
may produce large files.

Good Luck!
