My printer says it is offline, but it will print copies of anything scanned
only. How do i get my printer back online and printing everything.

Go to Printers and Faxes, right click on your printer, left click on "Use
Printer On-line"

Been trying that. It just goes from saying offline-offline to just
offline..it won't say online.

In that case you should probably try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer,
see whether that corrects the problem.

It does print. It just does not print anything from the internet, only what
we scan in to the computer. I want to know why it will print one thing and
not the other and why it will print when it says it is offline?

Are you saying that when you copy a document using the printer front panel
controls it is OK?
If so, can you scan using the PC and then print OK?
What make and model is your printer?
