Got a new Dell P4, Win XP desktop and installed my older
HP 710. After going to HP website and getting new
driver, all works fine, printer recognized by windows.
Problem is: every time I start computer, Windows finds
this printer again and wants to run wizard. I would llike
to make it stop this. Thanks for any help or replies.

Ensure that the LPT port in the BIOS is set to EPP.....

Same response... change LPT setting in BIOS to read EPP.
