      3rd Nov 2003
in a network of 2 advanced servers and Xp client and hp
printers the print jobs is rejected unless the print
spooler service is started after is disabled every time is
restarted or windows is started .thats to say that some
thing causes the print spooler sevice to stop an gets in
disabled mode

Check the event logs for a hint as to why the spooler
is shutting down. Did you install any printers recently?
You may have a non-standard print driver that is causing a
problem for the spooler or possibly one of the driver
files has become corrupt.
