I have created a PRF file that sets up every area of outlook 2002 for our
users, except for three areas. 1. Do not prompt for AutoArchive, 2. Location
for AutoArchive being H:\outlook\archive.pst, and 3. send/receive - Schedual
an automatic send/receive.

Can anybody tell me what entries I can add to the PRF file or what registry
entries need to be made/imported to set those areas.

I have been throught the White Paper from Microsoft, but it does not cover
most of the settings options that need to be set.

1) Not part of the mail profile. Control with group policy or any other registry technique.

Key: HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Preferences
Value name: PromptForAging
Value type: REG_DWORD
Value data: 1 = Enabled, 0 = Disabled

2) http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;836755

3) Not possible.

I've seen a few cases where the UI didn't match the policy settings. THe real question is whether the user is actually getting prompted.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this issue.
We have Office 2003 and about to upgrade to 2007.
We don't want users to be prompted for AutoArchive.

I've tried switching the prompt off using the OCT install, GPO, and direct
registry setting. Whether the registry setting is 1 or 0, the box is always
checked in the Options menu.

thanks
