Error signature
AppName: powerpnt.exe AppVer: 10.0.6501.0 ModName:mso.dll
MovVer: 10.0.6626.0 Offset: 00146868

I tested the same ppt on PPT2003 and the who slide show
worksed. I also try to save it as a ppt 95-2002 format
in ppt 2003 but this didn't help either.

Any help is appreciated.

Try installing the latest Service Pack (3) for Office XP.

Office XP does have the latest service pack 3 and updates
applied to it. Didn't work either. Any other ideas or
are some of the formats in ppt2000 just not compatible
with ppt2002?

Thanks

I don't know why this is happening. You might try Help > Detect and Repair in
PowerPoint 2002.

Can you identify the slide that causes the crash? It's probably the one
immediately following the last slide that successfully displays. What is on the
slide?
