If you have a DVD recorder, connect it to your TV and to your computer's video
card. This requires a video card with a port that is compatible with the
recorder, e.g. S-Video out to the S-Video in on the DVD player/recorder. When
you play the slide show it should show on your monitor and on the TV. Once it's
working, you can record it and burn it to a DVD on your recorder.

Yes, PowerPoint DVD Maker is so expensive with the price $149.95, maybe
you dont want to pay so much to do your convertion, then you can have a
look at PowerPoint2DVD, which is much more cheaper and functional, or
you can google "PowerPoint to DVD" to find all the possible methods to
help you.
