Powerpoint glitch/bug? Sub/Super-script problems

It seems like quite an ordeal to report bugs about office, but I thought I
would give it a shot.

Has anybody else noticed that the shortcuts for sub/super scripts in
PowerPoint only work one way?

(ctrl)(=) will activate a subscript for example, but a second pushing of
(ctrl)(=) never deactivates it...

If its' not a glitch is there a reason for it?

Bryan

PS - Superscript is : (ctrl)(shift)(=)
PPS - From a physical science perspective, it's got to be two of the most
important shortcuts!

I use Ctrl+Shift+ + (Plus) and Ctrl+Shift+ - (Minus)

That's

Ctrl and Shift and Plus

Ctrl and Shift and Minus (or hyphen)

heh, looking at my keyboard, I guess Ctrl+Shift+ = is the same as
Ctrl+Shift+ +, isn't it? Anyway, try Ctrl+Shift+ the key next to = to go the
other way!

Maybe it's a UK/US keyboard thing but I've never been able to turn Subscript
OFF from the keyboard shortcuts (though it seems to work in 2010 beta)

I write chemical fomulae so I need it!

Lucy T (I think) showed me this:

Add the subscript (or superscript) command to position one on the QAT. You
can still use the normal shortcut to start subscript and then ALT FOLLOWED by
1 to turn it off. (NOT both together)

It's not perfect but it helps.

Just a few of my observations:

1. PPT 2003 CTR+SHIFT+(plus) superscripts. Do it again and it returns to
standard text.
2. PPT 2007 CTR+SHIFT+(plus) superscripts. Do it again and nothing happens
(eg. no way to return to standard text from keyboard commands).
3. I have never been able to use keyboard command in either version to super
or sub script text.

Correcting myself. In #3 it should only say sub script (super script works
as I pointed out in #1 and #2).
