When pasting metafiles, other objects on the slide such as other metafiles
get moved and resized. Very annoying and time comsuming. Can't find help in
PowerPoint help.

Tools, AutoCorrect Options, Autoformat As You Type, remove check mark beside
Automatic Layout for inserted Objects

Try going to Tools > Auto Correct Options > Autoformat As You Type tab and
uncheck the bottom item - - Automatic layout for inserted objects. Does that
correct it for you?

Tim,
Go to Tools--> Autoformat, Autoformat as you type tab. Check to see if the
last check box has a check. If so, remove it. While you are at it, you might
want to check and see if you want the other autoformat options set that you
don't want turned on.
