Hi there,

Running Movie maker in version 2.1 on Windows XP all windows updated up.

I think the answer is going to be a resounding NO but does anyone know if it
is possible to change the location where the movie maker database gets stored?
(ie. C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Movie Maker)

The reason I want to change the location is the pupils on our network use
mandatory profiles so that location is pretty much useless to us as it will
always get overwritten meaning the pupils lose their collections. I've played
about with trying to get a script to copy the database out on logoff and back
in when they launch movie maker but when I run movie maker it seems to just
overwrite the database file I've copied in.

Ideally I'd like to store the database at
\\fileserver\%username%$\mmdatabase or something along those lines.

Any help greatly appreciated.
