Pop-up Reminders

I recently upgraded from Office 2003 to 2007 because my Word kept crashing.
Now I have 2007 and word does not crash anymore, but my Outlook does not
display pop up reminders like it did in the 2003 version. I thought this was
a change in the program with the upgrade until I read the posts about it. I
tried all the switches recommended in the other posts, but that didn't work.
I don't know if it is related, but the to-do list doesn't work either and has
not since I installed it.

Any help is appreciated.
