Hi everyone,

I have a problem with a W2k TS. The settings for all users
where changed by poledit. Now the settings should be
reset. What is the easiest way to do this. I havenīt any
original or any other Pol file which where used for the
current settings.

This might be a problem, since many of the policy settings
performed by poledit don't have accompanying 'undo'
settings, unless your original adm file had that built
in. Which adm files were you using to create the pol
files?

I were using standard adm files: common.adm and winnt.adm
Last night I made a new Pol file with the same adm files.
This allowed everything to every computer, to a group wich
includes all users und additional to all my user account.
All settings doesnīt work. Any ideas?

unless those policy files have the ability to undo their
original settings, I'm not sure what you can do, other
than to parse through all the settings and manually turn
them off. You could write another policy file the
oveerrides everything those those other ones set.

Hi,

thank you for your support. I have made a new policy that
overrides all existing files and it works
