The fax send wizard within Word was designed for use with Microsoft Fax in
Windows 95/98. It is a remnant with little relevance since neither Windows
2000 nor Office now support Microsoft Fax. It was sloppy of Microsoft not
to remove the wizard from Office, don't use it. All it does now is prepare
a Fax Cover sheet for Microsoft Fax (which usually will not get sent) then
hands off the actual fax to the native Windows 2000 Fax Service. Just use
the native Windows 2000 Fax Service directly by having Word print to the Fax
