I just setup a Windows 2000 Terminal Server in a Win2k
domain. My clients can log on, but their profile is never
saved. The have to reconfigure their desktop everytime
they log on. All settings are at their defaults. Thanks.
Miranda.

If these profiles are local, do you have the policy that
says to "delete locally cached copies of profiles on
logout" enabled?

Can you verify what happens to their profile once they
logout? For instance, can you go to Documents and
Settings, and watch their profile be created at logon,
then be deleted at logoff?

>I can see them being created once the user logs on, but

as soon as they log off the profiles disappear. For now
I've made the users a member of the local administrators
group and this has been working so far, although this is
not a method I would like to keep for long. Regards,
Miranda.
