Ian, the only reason I got a "real" host was so I could post loads of pic's.

I'm jealous - I haven't lown for over 5 years now The last time was gliding off sutton bank, that was great fun

I've flown some Cessna 180s before, and some 175s. Loved it. Ooh, and that turn you're making over the water seems banked at quite an angle.

Yup, almost perpendicular to it I'm not the most delicate flyer once I'm over water

Great fun... in was a plane launch as the weather wasn't great so we didn't stay up for long

Really weird not having the engine noise, but not as quiet as you might think.

Sutton Bank was great though (only time I've been there) - you launch of the edge of the 1000ft drop so takeoff is a little more spectacular than normal
