I recently changed CPU's and now I can't figure out how to get my photo
previews back.

Previously, I just hovered over a photo file (.jpg .gif etc) and I could see
a thumbnail of the photo along with the file size info etc. Now it just
shows the file size info.

Hi MaryAnn,

What are you calling CPU's - different operating system, new motherboard,
new install, new hard drive? A CPU is the processor, nothing more.

If, in order:

1. Preview has been replaced with Common Tasks.
2,3 and 4. Run the edit on line 17:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

If none of the above applies, then you either are speaking of a previous
operating system and a previously used third party program. That said, good

Do you mean seeing whats on the thumbnail pics ?

If so, goto VIEW then down to THUMBNAILS and make sure
there a dot along side.

Are you saying that a thumbnail would be displayed in the tooltip balloon for the file? If so, you must have had a 3rd-party program for that. It's not a windows feature as far as I know.
