I am trying to copy photos from a cd to a datastick..I can copy most of them
but several time I get an error message saying"cannot copy______. the
directory or file c annot be created." I have tried copying them to the hard
drive which works..is it the datastick that is the problem?

There is a limit to the number of files
that can be added to the root directory...
try creating folders to copy the files into.
