I have a P4C800 deluxe mb and an intel 3.0 gig processor and corsair
3200 memory 2 x 512. I have been running pc probe for quite a while
without any problem. Now when I boot up I get an error message . I
uninstalled probe and then reinstalled the version 2.22.03. I still
get the same error message on boot. It is
Access violation at address 3249A45 in module 'cp3240mt.dll' Read of
address 00980000,
Second error message
Access violation at address 3247476F in module 'cp3240mt.dll Write of
address 009B0000
I took out the two sticks of memory and switched them in the banks to
see if one stick had gone bad , but had same problem. It I open probe
to an active window from the taskbar when trying to close it I have to
shut it down after I get the same error. I checked to make sure that
the dll is being deleted when I uninstall and it was gone. The date on
the dll file is Feb 8,1998 .I am running XP pro. Not a major problem
but annoying. Any help will be appreciated

I get the same errors with PC Probe, all I do is go to the folder
where you installed PC Probe, in my case I left it as default.
"C:\Program Files\ASUS\Probe\Record", delete all the .txt files in the
record folder as they are the daily log, hence the file name read
backwards is the date. Fire up the computer and it should be fixed.

Cheers

Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
Product Version: 6.0.553 Release Date: 02/09/2003
Virus Database: 345 Release Date: 18/12/2003
